Our Programs & Services
AMI, Inc. has a lineup of tested and proven programs that address today’s most pressing youth and young adult issues, teaching young people the skills they need to succeed in life.
Programs are available in the areas of education, mentoring, self-esteem building, counseling, community involvement, the arts, careers, leadership development and athletics.

Mentoring Program:
Young people are paired with adults to provide guidance, direction and training; empowering young people to make wise decisions and to become productive citizens in their communities.
Self Esteem Building Program:
Young people are encouraged to see themselves not where they are, but where they need to be. They are constantly being challenged to examine self as to where they are today, and where they want to be tomorrow.
Academic Achievement Program:
Young people who are at-risk with their grades are paired with tutors who have conquered the challenge of mathematics, reading and writing; working together helping those in need succeed in school.
Leadership, Integrity & Character Program:
Young people are being taught leadership skills, integrity, character, and positive work ethics. They also learn to manage money, investments, interviewing techniques, while being exposed to new opportunities that they may not have had a chance to be introduced to.
Counseling Services:
Young people at-risk are set up to meet with a licensed Christian Family Therapist to deal with core issues they carry inside.
Weekend Camps and Retreats:
Young people participate in weekend get aways. They are encouraged to get away from the familiar, while being challenged to look at life, and their situations differently. They build lasting friendships with other young people, as well as participate in fun and adventurous activities.
Community Involvement/Field Trips:
Young people are taken on various outings to include but not limited to: College tours, Historic museums, Homeless Shelters, Elderly Homes, Group Homes, and Amusement parks.
College Care Packages:
Young people once accepted into a college or university are sent off with a package to include but not limited to: Toiletries, School supplies, Gift cards and Food to assist them while in their first semester.
Angel’s Closet:
Young people at-risk are able to shop for “free!!” in the store where they are provided new clothing, under garments, shoes, and accessories, to make up for what they do not have.
The Arts:
Young people are encouraged to live out the gifts, passions, talents and dreams that God has given them through drama, fashion, and dance.
